1st Annual Urban Unification Rally & Coat Drive
A Helping Hand From Your Fellow Man Organization
hosted their 1st Urban Unification Rally/ Coat and School Supply Drive. On October 18th 2014 A Helping Hand From Your Fellow Man organization gave away 200 bag lunches to the homeless and 200 pretzels to the children. In addition, we supplied several families with coats, book bags, and school supplies to the local communities who were in attendance. The event took place at Love Park in Center City Philadelphia, PA. Our plan is to make this an annual event that is held yearly.

gave away toys, children’s books, and dress attire for men women and youth ages 14 and up. And also hosted a job readiness seminar highlighting interview skills and how to dress for interviews.
2015 Martin L King Day of service "I Have A dream Toy Childrens Book Drive Job Readiness Seminar" was a day of learning and fun for all involved.
Parry P and Franchella Simmons hosted the event DJ Noddles provided the music Philly Streets Talk provided breif video coverage of the event.
Leonard Anderson Jr. held an interactive book reading with the children to start the event H&S Learning Center along instucted the children with the arts and craft segment and provided face painting.
Handouts were give to attendees of the job workshop, interview clothing was provided for those in need at the closing of the workshop.
No More Pain Inc. volunteered setup assisted children with arts and crafts as well as interacted with guest and participants.
Montgomery Residents Association provided tee shirts the location and lunch to the community as well as the movie Selma for entertainment.

The morning began with runners joggers and walkers doing a 5k marathon for the Race For Grace around the surrounding West Oak Lane Mt. Airy neighborhoods.
After there was food giveaways and iformation as well as activities for the children. Grand Hank came out to give the children a hands on lesson and demonstration of a science experiment. Backpacks filled with school supplies were given out to youth in attendance.

IN A EFFORT TO SUPPORT THE PEOPLE IN FLINT MICHIGAN AFFECTED BY THE LEAD CRISIS A HELPING HAND FROM YOUR FELLOW MAN ORGANIZATION ALONG WITH A HOST OF LOCAL BUSSINESSES AND ORGANIZATIONS ASSISTED IN COLLECTING AND DROPPING WATER TO THE DROP LACATION AT PARKSIDE AVE SHOPPING PLAZA.
THE SNOW STORM THAT ARRIVED ON THE COLLECTION DEADLINE COULDN'T KEEP DONATIONS FROM COMING IN OR SAMARIA BAILEY JOURNALIST FROM THE PHILADELPHIA TRIBUNE FROM COVERING THIS EFFORT TO UNITE SUPPORT AND NETWORK WITH ORGANIZATIONS AND FAMILIES IN THERE TIME OF NEED WITHOUT ANY DISCRIMINATION.

A HELPING HAND IS GETTING INVOLVED IN PROMOTING AND CONNECTING ORGANIZATIONS AND BUSINESSES TO GET INVOLVED IN STUDENT ACTIVITIES AND ACADEMICS AND OUR ORGANIZATION IS LAUNCHING A ANTI-BULLY CAMPAIGN SCHEDULED FOR MAY 2016 STARTING WITH DELEWARE VALLEY CHARTER HIGH SCHOOL.
ONCE A MONTH DEL VALLEY CHARTER HIGH SCHOOL WILL BE HOST AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES TO INVOLVE COMMUNITY GROUPS ORGANIZATIONS AND PARENT TO BECOME ACTIVE INVOLVED AND INFORMED ABOUT STUDENTS PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIY SCHEDULES FOR STUDENTS.
INCLUDING ACTIVITY AND PROGRAM SCHEDULES PAYMENT DATES AND DEADLINES.
STUDENTS ALSO PERFORMED LIVE AND ATTENED THIS EVENT.
